BA LL.B. Entrance Examination Guidelines

Applications are officially open for our Bachelor of Arts Bachelor of Laws (BA LL.B.) program. Prospective students must review the following official guidelines, eligibility criteria, and examination structure before submitting their applications.

1. Eligibility Criteria

  • Academic Qualification: Completed 10+2 or an equivalent degree from any recognised board and academic stream.
  • Minimum Grade Requirement: A minimum of a 2.0 GPA.
  • Equivalence Certificate: Mandatory for applicants who completed their high school education outside of Nepal.

2. Examination Structure & Assessment

  • Total Weightage: 100 Marks.
  • Time Duration: 2 Hours.
  • Assessment Format: Evaluation is divided into three distinct components:
  • Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs)
  • Subjective Descriptive Answers
  • Formal Interview

3. Examination Syllabus

  • Legal Aptitude & Awareness: Fundamentals of the Constitution, basic legal concepts, legal maxims, and human rights.
  • General English & Communication: Reading comprehension, grammar proficiency, vocabulary, and analytical writing.
  • General Knowledge & Current Affairs: National and international contemporary issues, history, and political systems.
  • Logical & Analytical Reasoning: Verbal reasoning, critical thinking, series completion, and logical puzzles.

4. Required Documentation

Applicants must upload or submit clear copies of the following documents during registration:

  • Mark sheets, transcripts, and character certificates for SEE/SLC and 10+2.
  • Copy of Nepali Citizenship Certificate (or parent's citizenship for minors).
  • Recent passport-sized photographs with a plain background.

5. Selection & Admission Process

  • Pass Mark: Candidates must secure a minimum of 40% in the written evaluation to be considered for the ranking list.
  • Final Merit List: Admission offers are granted based on a combined score of the entrance exam performance and interview results.
